Soya Chilli Recipe

 



Ingredients:-

1. 1 cup of mini soya chunks

2. Corn flour

3. Black pepper powder

4. Red chilly powder

5. Ginger

6. Green chilly

7. Garlic

8. Onion

9. Capsicum

10. Vinegar

11. Soy sauce

12. Tomato sauce

13. Green chilly sauce

14. Salt to taste

15. Cooking oil

16. Water


Method:-

1. In a sauce pan take 2 glasses of water and heat it on medium flame. 



2. Add half a teaspoon of salt into it. 



3. Add the soya chunks and let them boil on a low flame for 10 minutes. When boiled wash them under cold water and keep aside. 



4. In a large bowl take 2 tablespoon corn flour + 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste + ½ teaspoon black pepper powder + 1 teaspoon salt. 



5. Add some water and mix them well into a smooth paste. 



6. Drain excess water from the soya chunks and add them into the paste. Mix them well until the paste is evenly distributed on the soy chunks. 



7. In a pan heat 3 tablespoon cooking oil. 



8. Put the chunks once the oil is hot. Fry them until golden brown. ( Since my phone couldn't capture the actual colour, so in reality the chunks are darker than what appearing in the picture.) 



9. Take 3 tablespoon oil in a pan again. Add 1 half slit green chilly + 3 chopped garlic cloves. Saute for 30 second then add ¾ of chopped capsicum. Saute for a minute. Now add two chopped onions ( medium sized). Saute them on low flame for 3 minutes. 



10. Add : 1 teaspoon vinegar + 1 tablespoon soy sauce + 3 tablespoon chilly sauce + 4 tablespoon tomato sauce+ ½ teaspoon red chilly powder + 2 teaspoon salt. 



11. Saute and mix them well. 



12. Now in a bowl take 3 teaspoon corn flour , add water into it and a pinch of salt  . Saute and cook for a minute. 



13. Add the chunks and saute and cook until a thick consistency is observed.
