Benefits of Golden Milk

 Turmeric Milk:-

Well, there is not one but many reasons why you must have turmeric milk every night before going to sleep. 

Some of the common benefits of golden milk or turmeric milk are:

1. It induces good sleep. 

2. It also acts as an anti-aging tonic. 

3. It helps with fighting skin infections, disorders 
    and allergies. 

4. It helps to reduce inflammation and joint                pain.      

5. Turmeric also has antibiotic properties that           help fight a few kind of viral infections. 

6. It helps strengthen your immune system. 

But keep in mind, it is important to use turmeric efficiently and not abuse it. 
- adding the right amount of turmeric into milk is important. 
- excessive intake of turmeric can lead to acidity and bloating. 


How to prepare this golden milk? 

1. Take some milk in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After a minute, when the milk is lukewarm add turmeric powder to it. 

2. Add in some sugar if you want to or you can skip it or you can substitute it with jaggery. 

3. You don't need to boil it but it should be nicely hot throughout. 

4. Turn off the flame and let it sit for another 5 minutes. 

5. You may sprinkle cardamon or cinnamon powder before serving.
