Kadha Tea Recipe
In these tough times, Kadha has been something I'm sticking to everyday. It boosts immunity and wards off simple cold and cough. I usually have it in the evening. I also feel it helps me gain back my energy after a tiring day.
Preparation Time :15 minutes
Servings :3 cups
Ingredients:-
1. Water
2. Tulsi leaves
3. Black pepper / gol mirch
4. Cloves / lawang
5. Cinnamon / dalchini
6. Regular tea leaves
7. Honey
8. Ginger
Method :-
1. Take 3 cups of water in a sauce pan and heat it on medium flame.
2. Add 10-15 tulsi leaves into the boiling water. Tear them a little with your hand before adding them.
4. Now take 4 black pepper, crush them a little and add it into the pan.
5. Now add : 2 crushed cloves and a little piece of cinnamon.
6. Finally add ⅓ of a teaspoon of tea leaves. Stir it once and let it boil for around 10 minutes.
7. After 10 minutes, turn off the gas and let it cool.
8 . Now in a cup take ½ tablespoon of honey and strain the kadha into it.
9. Mix it well before drinking.
I prefer crushing the raw form of spices rather than using the readymade powdered form available in the market. You can use either.
