Poha Recipe

Ingredients:-

1. 3 cup flattened rice

2. 2 medium sized finely chopped onions

3. 2 chopped green chilli

4. Raisin

5. 1½ tablespoon sugar

6. ½ teaspoon turmeric powder

7. ½ teaspoon cumin powder

8. 3 tablespoon ghee ( you can use any oil you prefer) 

9. Salt to taste


Method:-

1. Take the flattened rice in a strainer and wash it under running tap water. 

2 . Drain the excess water. Now add : sugar + salt. Mix it evenly and put it aside. 

3. Heat oil in a pan and add the chillies. 

4. Let them sizzle for around 30 seconds. 

5. Now add the onions. Saute and cook them until the onions turn golden. 

6. Now add : turmeric powder+ cumin powder + raisins. Saute. Cook them for a minute. 

7. Now add the flattened rice. 

8. Mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes. 

9. I like eating it with mixture. So I've garnished it with mixture. You can use coriander leaves or any other thing according to your preference.
