Gulab Jamun
INGREDIENTS:
1. Khoya (mashed) 250g
2. Flour 50g
3. Chenna (mashed) 50g
4. Cashew (crushed) 1tsp
5. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
6. Sugar 600g
7. Ghee 50g
8. Water 400ml
METHOD:
1. Mix khoya , flour , cardamom powder & chenna and refrigerate for 30 minutes
2. Heat the sugar and water for around 10-15 minutes on a medium flame till you grt a syrup.
3. Make 15 medium size balls of mixture.
4. Deep fry in ghee on medium heat until you get characteristic golden brown colour.
5. Drain and soak in the sugar syrup for half an hour
6. Serve hot or warm as desired..
