Winter is here and our food cravings are at peak. Try this masala parantha recipe for dinner and enjoy your winters.
Cooking Time: 30 minutes
Servings: 6 paranthas ( approx)
INGREDIENTS :-
1. 3 cup wheat flour
2. Half tea spoon red chilly powder
3. Half tea spoon garam masala
4. One-fourth of a tea spoon of cumin powder
5. One-fourth of a tea spoon of crushed ajwain
6. One table spoon ghee ( can be added more if you like)
7. One tea spoon salt
8. One and a half cup hot water ( increased if more is required)
Procedure :-
1. Take a large bowl. Add : wheat flour + chilly powder +garam masala + cumin powder + ajwain powder + ghee and salt
2. Mix them well, so that all the spices are evenly distributed.
3. Add hot water and knead it into dough.
4. Grease the dough with refined oil / ghee and let it rest for 15 minutes.
5. Lightly knead once more and make medium sided balls from the dough.
6. Now on the rolling board, dust one by one each balls and gently roll them into the size you prefer.
7. On a heated tawa, place them one at a time and cook them on medium to high flame.
8. Spread some oil / ghee when they are partially cooked.
9. Cool them until you see golden brown blisters.
10. Serve them with tomato ketchup, veggies, chutney or anything you like.
